Marvin gently wakes Calista up for the early morning sunrise. Marvin kisses her awake. Calista gently opens her eyes. Calista Line 1) Marvin? What are you doing? Marvin Line 2) You told me to wake you up for the sunrise. Calista Line 3) Oh. I forgot. Marvin Line 4) If you’re still sleepy we can do it another time. Marvin realizes there won’t be another time. Calista Line 5) There won’t be another time. Calista Line 6) What time is it? Marvin Line 7) It’s 4:58 AM. Calista Line 8) Goodness. And when should the sunrise happen? Marvin Line 9) Around 5:05. Marvin Line 10) You sure you’re up for it? Calista Line 11) Yeah. Let’s go see it. Calista Line 12) I’m just still half asleep. Calista smacks her face a bit. Marvin holds her hands. Marvin Line 13) What are you doing? Calista Line 14) What does it look like? I’m waking myself up. Marvin laughs. Marvin Line 15) I’m sure some brightness will do the trick. Marvin Line 16) Do you want me to carry you to the balcony? Calista Line 17) What? No. Don’t stress yourself out like that. Marvin gets out of bed and shows his back to Calista. Marvin Line 18) Come on. I don’t mind. Calista Line 19) Well if you insist. Calista gets on Marvins back. He gives her a piggyback ride. Calista Line 20) How do you have so much strength this early in the morning? Calista Line 21) My limbs are still adjusting. There’s no way I could easily carry someone without the proper energy. Marvin smiles. Marvin Line 22) I always have enough energy for you. Marvin takes Calista to the balcony. A slight breeze hits them. Marvin Line 23) Are you chilly? Should I bring a coat? Calista rests her head on Marvin’s shoulders. Calista Line 24) You’re warm enough for me. They smile and the sunrise comes up. Marvin Line 25) It’s just about peeking at the horizon. Calista Line 26) Isn’t it cute how the sun also has to wake up? Marvin laughs and nods his head. They watch and embrace how the sun comes up. The sun fully hits its beacon. Calista’s eyes get dilated from the brightness of the sun. Marvin looks at Calista as she sees the sunrise. Marvin Line 27) So, what do you think? Marvin Line 28) Better than sunsets, right? Calista smiles. Calista Line 29) For sure. Marvin Line 30) Sunsets just make me feel so gloomy. Marvin Line 31) The sun leaves and the day becomes night. Marvin Line 32) The only brightness that’s left is the moon. Marvin Line 33) Since my sister's name was Luna. Marvin Line 34) Everytime I see the moon. I think of her. Marvin Line 35) As if she became the moon to me. Marvin Line 36) The light for my dark times. Marvin Line 37) But, when the sun rises. And the moon settles down. Marvin Line 38) Everything goes back to being bright. Marvin Line 39) Because the sun radiates light. Marvin Line 40) To me, you’re like the sun. Marvin Line 41) When you rise. You make everything around you bright. Marvin Line 42) And that’s how you brightened my life. Calista gets down from Marvins back and grabs his face. Calista Line 43) That’s such a cute analogy. Calista Line 44) How do you know exactly what to say? Calista Line 45) There’s no way I can compete with that. She squeezes his cheek and hugs him. Later in the day, they head into a red room and Marvin shows Calista how to develop the film photos they took all day yesterday. Marvin Line 46) There might be some other photos I didn’t know I took earlier. Calista Line 47) I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. She watches as Marvin dips the photos in some water and hangs them up. Calista Line 48) This is all so cool. No wonder photographers are so gentle with their photos. I mean, it takes so much effort. Marvin Line 49) Just wait till you see how these babies come out. Calista Line 50) Will they be done before… Marvin Line 51) They’ll be done. Marvin gives Calista an assuring look. Calista Line 52) You’re like my red room. Calista Line 53) You help me develop. Marvin laughs. Marvin Line 54) Are you trying to come up with an analogy? Calista Line 55) Listen, you set the bar high. How am I supposed to top anything after that? Marvin Line 56) It’s not about beating me. It’s just about understanding what I said. Marvin boops Calista’s nose. Calista Line 57) Of course I know that. I just feel like I owe you by making my own analogy. Marvin squeezes Calista’s cheeks. He laughs. Marvin Line 58) You’re so precious. Talulla and Elouise are walking down the town of Jersey. Elouise Line 59) That’s how I almost fell off that hill from my bike. Elouise Line 60) If I had gone down further, I would’ve been doomed. Elouise Line 61) That’s why I stopped biking. I just don’t get how they didn’t put up a warning sign or something. Talulla smiles. Elouise Line 62) I’m sorry. I’ve been talking so much, haven’t I? Talulla Line 63) You don’t have to worry about that kind of thing with me. I love listening to you talk. Elouise blushes. Elouise Line 64) Well, is there anything you want to tell me? Talulla Line 65) Would you believe me if I told you I was from the future? Elouise Line 66) Obviously not. What kind of question is that? Talulla Line 67) Didn’t think so. Elouise Line 68) Okay… Let's say you were. What does that have to do with anything? It’s such a random thing to blurt out. Talulla Line 69) What do you mean? That changes everything. Talulla Line 70) Everything I do, changes the future. Elouise rolls her eyes in disbelief. Elouise Line 71) Whatever. You’re so random sometimes. Talulla Line 72) What if today were my last day in this timeline? Elouise Line 73) Okay… And hypothetically what time are you supposedly from? Talulla Line 74) 2024. Elouise Line 75) Jeez, that’s so far along. How old would I be? Talulla Line 76) 84 years old. Elouise Line 77) Dang. Would I ever make it that far? Talulla Line 78) You do. Elouise Line 79) And you only know that because you’re “from the future”. Talulla Line 80) Anyways, all I’m trying to say is today's my last day here. Elouise Line 81) That’s nonsense. Should I be concerned? Elouise Line 82) By last day? Do you mean that… Talulla Line 83) I’m not gonna off myself. I’m just telling you that today’s my last day in this timeline. Talulla Line 84) Which means I have to say my goodbyes with you. Elouise Line 85) This is so ridiculous. You’ve got to be joking. Elouise looks at Talulla’s serious face. Elouise plays along with Talulla’s gimmick. Elouise Line 86) So… Any last words? Talulla Line 87) Thank you. Talulla Line 88) For changing yourself. Talulla Line 89) For becoming a better person. Talulla Line 90) This journey was rough, but I’m glad you’ve made it through. Talulla Line 91) You should be heavily proud of your progress. Talulla Line 92) I wish you the best in this life. Talulla Line 93) I hope you get everything you want. Talulla Line 94) I hope you become everything you ever wanted as well. Elouise Line 95) Talulla. Why does it actually sound like you’re actually saying goodbye? Elouise Line 96) Are you going somewhere? Talulla Line 97) I already told you. I’m going back to 2024. Talulla Line 98) My family needs me. Talulla Line 99) Neither you nor me will remember all we’ve been through. Elouise Line 100) You’re talking crazy! This isn’t funny. Talulla Line 101) It is funny. Because in reality I actually don’t really want to leave. Talulla puts her hands on Elouises shoulders. Talulla Line 102) I didn’t think that someone I’d know for such a sparse amount of time… Talulla Line 103) Could impact me this heavily. She holds Elouise’s hands. Talulla Line 104) But, I need to leave. It’s impossible for me to stay here. Which is why I want you to take care of yourself. Talulla Line 105) Even though I’ll forget you. I’ll never forget you. She hugs Elouise and Elouise is in shock. Talulla walks away. Line 106) Elouise: Why do I feel like today's actually the last time we’ll ever see each other? Elouise frantically shouts at Talulla. Elouise Line 107) W-Wait! Talulla! Elouise Line 108) Will we meet again someday? Talulla looks back melancholy. Talulla Line 109) I hope so. She walks away and tearfully makes her way home.
