Elouise Line 1) Soooo. How’s your day been? Talulla Line 2) What’s with the small talk? Elouise Line 3) Sheesh. I’m just asking. Elouise Line 4) It’s boring walking in silence. At least talk to me. Talulla Line 5) Just lead the way, and we’ll get there faster. Elouise groans. Elouise Line 6) You’re no fun. Talulla Line 7) Yeah, yeah. Whatever. They keep walking and a group of men spot them. They whistle at the girls as they walk past them. Guy 1 Line 8) Yoo hoo. Ladies. Where are you gals headed off too? Talulla turns her head abruptly. Talulla Line 9) What’s it to you? Guy 2 Line 10) Do you guys have time to talk? Talulla Line 11) No. Leave us alone. The third guy walks in front of Elouise and Talulla. Guy 3 Line 12) Just wait a bit and talk with us. Talulla gives a frustrated sigh. Elouise hides behind her. The other guys approach her. Guy 1 Line 13) You look… The guys stare Talulla up and down. Guy 1 Line 14) Interesting. Talulla is not impressed. Talulla Line 15) Alright? She tries to walk away but one of the guys blocks her way. Guy 2 Line 16) Running away so fast? Guy 3 Line 17) Come on ladies. What’s the rush? Line 18) Talulla: These guys are up to no good. Line 19) Talulla: Elouise gripping on my clothes real hard. Line 20) Talulla: I need to get us out of here. Talulla Line 21) Sorry boys. But, we’re done here. One of the guys grabs Elouise’s wrist. Guy 2 Line 22) I thought you gals were up for some fun. Guy 3 Line 23) Maybe they just need some more convincing? Elouise looks frightened from the way the guy touched her. The guy pulls Elouise to them. Talulla starts to act hostile. Talulla Line 24) I didn’t want to start anything. Talulla Line 25) But, touching my friend is crossing the line. Talulla Line 26) Hands off. Now. Guy 1 Line 27) Aw, man. We don’t like girls who think they’re dominant. Guy 1 Line 28) Trust me when I say you don’t want to mess with us. Talulla scoffs. Talulla Line 29) Don’t make me laugh. Talulla Line 30) I won’t repeat myself. Talulla approaches the guy and upsizes him in height. She grabs his wrist. Talulla Line 31) I said hands off. She unbinds their hands. Elouise hides behind Talulla. She blows in the man's face. Talulla Line 32) Are we done here? Guy 1 Line 33) You think you’re tough? The guy tries to make a move on Talulla. Talulla doges his move. Talulla Line 34) I”m pretty sure I warned you enough for you not to make a move. Talulla flicks the guy's wrist around. The guy acks in pain. Talulla Line 35) Give up and I’ll leave you all alone. Guy 1 Line 36) Okay, okay. You’ve made your point. She unbinds his wrist and he touches it in pain. The other guys approach Talulla from behind. Guy 2 Line 37) Who the hell do you think you are? Guy 3 Line 38) You think after that we’ll let you go so easily after doing something like that? Talulla Line 39) Do you want me to pull something like that on you guys too? Cause you’re asking for it. Guy 3 Line 40) Pft. You’re nothing for us. Talulla slaps one of the guys. Elouise gasps. Talulla Line 41) I’m done with this! Talulla Line 42) Leave us alone! The other guys pin Talulla to the wall. Elouise shrieks in fear. Guy 2 Line 43) I know girls like you. You think you’re tough and able to protect anyone. The guy laughs. Guy 2 Line 44) Sounds to me like you’re just pathetic. In panic Elouise kicks the guy who’s pinning Talulla down in the balls. He falls and groans in pain. Elouise grabs Talulla’s wrist and makes a run for it. They eventually lose the guys. Elouise stops to catch her breath. Line 45) Talulla: I let the guy make his statement back there and pin me down. Line 46) Talulla: I was planning to get back at him in my own way, but Elouise stepped in instead. Line 47) Talulla: She must’ve panicked and made that rash decision. Line 48) Talulla: Although I’m perfectly capable of standing up for myself. I’m surprised she did something. Especially since she was drunk. Talulla breaks into a laugh. Elouise is confused. Elouise Line 49) Ugh. What’s wrong? Talulla Line 50) You just stunned me. Elouise Line 51) You must be laughing from shock. Are you okay? Talulla Line 52) Are you still drunk? Elouise Line 53) I think that situation sobered me up. Talulla pats Elouise’s shoulder. Talulla Line 54) I’m proud of you. Talulla Line 55) You stood up for me. Talulla Line 56) I owe you. Elouise smiles. Elouise Line 57) You could owe me by forgiving me. Talulla glances at Elouise. Talulla Line 58) You know what? Talulla leads her hand out. Elouise Line 59) What’s this for? Talulla Line 60) I call a truce. Talulla Line 61) Let’s start fresh. Talulla Line 62) We’ve got nothing against each other. Talulla Line 63) You forgive me, I forgive you. Talulla Line 64) Let’s give this a brand new start. Elouise shakes Talulla’s hand and smiles. Elouise’s narration: Line 65) Is this the start of a new friendship? Talulla Line 66) Alright, let’s keep going. Talulla Line 67) It’s getting late. We need to get you home. They keep walking and make it to Elouise’s home. Elouise Line 68) I’m sorry for dragging you all this way. Elouise Line 69) I should’ve just taken a taxi. Talulla Line 70) That’s alright. I wanted some fresh air anyways. Talulla Line 71) If it weren’t for those thugs, it would’ve been a nice walk. Elouise Line 72) I’ll get that reported soon. Elouise Line 73) I noticed a label one of the guys was wearing, so I’m sure I’ll be able to track them down since I remember their faces. Elouise Line 74) They’re gonna regret they ever messed with someone like me. Talulla Line 75) Dang. I guess this is where that status thing really comes in clutch. Elouise Line 76) I won’t keep you waiting any longer. Elouise reaches into her pocket and grabs some coins. She hands it to Talulla but she doesn’t take it yet. Talulla Line 77) What’s this for? Elouise Line 78) Go get yourself a cab. Elouise Line 79) Your place is far from here, and we don’t know if those guys are still out there. Talulla looks hesitant. Elouise Line 80) Please, just take it. Talulla accepts. Talulla Line 81) I won’t leave until I see you head inside. Elouise Line 82) Alright, I’ll get going. Elouise Line 83) Thanks for everything. Talulla Line 84) You too. Elouise enters the building and shuts the door. She slides down her door and her heart pumps rapidly. Talulla goes to get herself a cab. She gets in and heads home. Talulla’s narration: Line 85) Huh. That turned out completely opposite from what I was expecting. Line 86) I can’t believe we actually made up. Line 87) She’s not that bad to be around. Line 88) If she keeps me company, I won't feel like a third wheel with Marvin and Calista. Talulla gets home and sees Calista sitting on the couch, with her hands binded on her thighs and her face on her knees. Talulla Line 89) What are you doing here on your own? Calista sighs. Calista Line 90) Hey there. Did things with Elouise go fine? Talulla Line 91) Where’s Marvin? Did you guys fight? Line 92) Calista: It wasn’t exactly a fight, but we did get into a disagreement. Line 93) Calista: Either way, it’s no good to have Talulla meddled into something like this. All of them eat together and Talulla is upset about the awkward tension. Talulla’s narration: Line 94) What the frick is going on? Line 95) I just resolved an issue, and now a new one has been born? Line 96) Why is there so much awkward tension? Line 97) And why am I caught in the middle of all of this? Marvin and Calista lock eyes, but look away in an instant. Line 98) What the heck is that all about? Marvin clears his throat. Marvin Line 99) So, how did things go with Elouise? Talulla Line 100) Things went well. End of episode. © 2024 YoshAuthor's Note
