Elouise gives Talulla the proposal of splitting Calista and Marvin up so she can be with him. Talulla Line 1) Are you out of your mind?! Elouise looks at Talulla offensively. Elouise Line 2) There you go again, insulting me. Talulla Line 3) Insulting you?! Do you have any idea what you’re asking me to do?! Elouise Line 4) I’m well aware of what I’m asking. I’m not dense! Talulla Line 5) First of all, Calista’s my best friend! Talulla Line 6) Second of all, Marvin is a good friend of mine! Talulla Line 7) And third of all, they’ve gone through so much to be with each other! Talulla Line 8) I can’t separate that! Talulla Line 9) You’re asking the impossible! Talulla Line 10) My friends are happy seeing each other. Talulla Line 11) They love each other. Talulla Line 12) This is the first time in a while that I’ve seen Calista truly happy. Talulla Line 13) I’m not foolish enough to wreck something like that! Talulla Line 14) Have you ever considered the consequences of doing such a thing?! Elouise Line 15) Are you done blabbering? Talulla Line 16) Done blabbering?! You’re nuts! Elouise Line 17) If you can’t help me then you’re useless! Elouise Line 18) You can't make anything up to me if you can't do this! Talulla Line 19) For your information, I didn’t want to make amends with you in the first place! Line 20) Talulla: I mean I did, but knowing her true intentions, she can piss off! Talulla Line 21) I just came here to help your brother, that’s all! Elouise Line 22) My brother? Talulla Line 23) Yeah, your brother. Talulla Line 24) Despite going through the same thing as you, he still hasn’t given up! Talulla Line 25) While you, on the other hand, think it’s okay to turn your back on the world, and take your anger out on everyone around you! Talulla Line 26) You have no idea how hard it’s been on him! Talulla Line 27) Because you only think about yourself! Talulla Line 28) All he wants is for you to turn back to the way you used to be. Talulla Line 29) Why can’t you just do what he wants for once?! Elouise Line 30) You make it sound so easy! Talulla Line 31) Because it’s not that complicated! Elouise Line 32) You don’t know what you’re talking about! Talulla Line 33) You know what? You’re not worth helping at all! Talulla Line 34) Tell Todd that I’m done with the plan. Talulla Line 35) You’re nothing but a lost cause. Talulla Line 36) One piece of advice I’d give you. Talulla Line 37) Is to stop being such a burden to everyone! Talulla Line 38) For the greater good of the people around you. Talulla Line 39) You should just leave! Talulla Line 40) Move away from everyone, so you can live the rest of your miserable life all by yourself. Talulla Line 41) I’m done with you. Talulla walks away. Elouise goes into her house bitterly. Todd approaches her. Todd Line 42) Are you okay, Elouise? She bursts into tears and yells at Todd. Elouise Line 43) Just leave me alone! She ragefully runs into her room and slams her door shut. Todd stares dumbfounded by the situation. Todd Line 44) So, I take it, things went well? Talulla is walking home. Talulla’s narration: Line 45) I had a bad feeling agreeing to this in the first place. Line 46) From what Marvin told us about Elouise, I’ve had my doubts about a person that stubborn to change. Line 47) Even handling things on my own and talking with her. Line 48) Why did I ever think that things would work out for a moment? Line 49) I do feel bad for her, but if I’ve tried to help and even that didn’t work out. Line 50) She’s just gonna have to deal with it on her own. Line 51) But, what the hell do I care? Line 52) I just wanted to do an act of service while I was here. Talulla makes her way into Marvin’s apartment. She spots Marvin and Calista cuddling each other. Line 53) How could I ever separate these two? Line 54) They love each other too much. Line 55) They know it won’t last much longer. Line 56) But, while they’re here with each other right now. Line 57) They want each moment to last. Line 58) Even if they forget it in the future. Line 59) Because that’s not what matters. Line 60) What matters is what happens now. Line 61) They deserve each other. Line 62) Never have I met two people so meant to be together. Line 63) I want the best for my friends. They’re just that dear to me. Line 64) No one can get in the way of that. Talulla stumbles into Marvin’s room and sees Rex on his mattress. Line 65) They even freed up the big bed for my spoiled a*s to sleep in. Line 66) While they cram themselves on that steep pull out mattress. Line 67) I hope that one day I can find someone for myself too. Talulla cuddles on Rex. Line 68) But, for the meantime. I have Rex. Next day goes by. The day is Wednesday April 19 1967. It's morning. Talulla is making breakfast for all of them. Calista peers her eyes open. Calista Line 69) Talulla, is that you? Talulla Line 70) Huh? Oh. Good morning. Marvin wakes up with bed head. Marvin Line 71) Is Talulla making breakfast? Talulla Line 72) You’ve got that right. So, get ready while it’s still hot. Talulla Line 73) And comb your hair, Marvin. Calista laughs and fiddles with Marvins hair. He smiles. They get ready and eat breakfast. Marvin Line 74) What made you decide to make breakfast today? Talulla Line 75) Just to be productive. Plus, I woke up early. Marvin Line 76) How did it go with Elouise yesterday? Talulla Line 77) Oh, about that… She explains everything to them. Calista Line 78) All that matters is you did the best you could. I’m proud of you. Marvin Line 79) Maybe I should talk with her. They question what he intends. Marvin Line 80) I feel like it would bring the both of us some closure. Talulla Line 81) Hang on. That actually sounds like a good idea. Marvin looks at Calista hesitantly. Marvin Line 82) Would that be okay with you? Calista laughs. Calista Line 83) Marvin, you don’t have to ask me for my permission. Calista Line 84) It’ll clear up the confusion between you guys. It’s a good idea. Marvin Line 85) Oh, right. I almost forgot. Marvin rummages through his cabinets and shows Calista and Talulla some pictures. These are pictures of baby Rex. Talulla and Calista beam in excitement. Talulla and Calista Line 86) Aww, he’s so cute! They bother Rex after that. Marvin heads out to talk with Elouise. They meet at a park bench. Elouise is all dressed up and looking forward to the invite. Line 87) Elouise: Wow! Did that Talulla girl actually come through?! Marvin Line 88) Hey there, Elouise. Marvin Line 89) I think you and I need to have a talk. Please sit. Elouise does just that. Marvin smiles at her. Line 90) Elouise: If he’s smiling that’s a good sign. Marvin Line 91) I think you’re well acquainted with my friend Talulla by now, aren’t you? Line 92) Elouise: Ugh. Why are we talking about her? Elouise sighs, but up beatably responds to Marvin. Talulla Line 93) Yes. We’ve talked a couple of times. Marvin Line 94) Well then you’re well aware I have a girlfriend right. Her name’s Calista. Elouise’s face goes blank. Elouise Line 95) Well, yes. But, that’s now why we’re here to discuss, right? Marvin is confused. Marvin Line 96) I mean it plays into what I’ll be talking about. Elouise gets more abrupt. Elouise Line 97) Alright then, get to your point. Marvin Line 98) Truth is, we’ve been getting to know each other for a while now. Marvin Line 99) And made things official just recently. Elouise looks ticked off. Marvin Line 100) I know you have this… “Thing” for me. Marvin Line 101) I hope I wasn’t leading you on, but I just don’t see you in that way. Elouise looks upset. Marvin Line 102) I’m in love with Calista, and that’s final. Marvin Line 103) You and I are just acquaintances. Line 104) Elouise: Acquaintances? He won’t acknowledge me as a friend? Marvin Line 105) So, let’s keep it that way. Marvin Line 106) I’m in a happy relationship, and there’s nothing you can do that’ll change that. Marvin Line 107) Take my advice and just move on. Marvin Line 108) Trust me when I say that there’s someone out there, who’s meant for you. Marvin Line 109) It’s bad to use people to get what you want. Marvin Line 110) That’s called taking advantage of them. Elouise gets frightened. Line 111) Elouise: Why is he saying that? Line 112) Elouise: D-Does he know about my plans? Marvin Line 113) I know about what you tried to do to me. End of episode. © 2024 YoshAuthor's Note
