Calista Line 1) Wow. There’s a whole trail here. Calista Line 2) I’ve always wanted you to take me on an adventure. Marvin Line 3) Can you run? Calista Line 4) Yeah, but why? Marvin Line 5) Catch me if you can! Marvin runs off to the leading trail. Calista is caught off guard. Calista Line 6) Hey! Where are you going?! Calista chases after him. He’s farther ahead than her. Line 7) Calista: Dang. He’s a fast runner. She keeps running after him, until he disappears a bit. Calista Line 8) Wait! Marvin! Calista stops to catch her breath. Calista Line 9) Slow down would you?! Line 10) Calista: I think I lost him. Calista tries to follow where he might have gone. She walks to a trail that leads both ways. Line 11) Calista: What?! Why would he run away if the trail leads to two different paths? Calista shouts for Marvin. Calista Line 12) Marvin! Where are you?! Line 13) Calista: No signal? Hm… Line 14) Calista: Did he want to get rid of me? Is that why he ran away? Line 15) Calista: So, which path should I go down? Calista does eeny meeny miny moe. She goes down the path she picks. She walks down there and it leads to this grassy plain with flowers and green grass all over. She’s speechless. Calista Line 16) Marvin?! Are you here?! Line 17) Calista: It’s so beautiful out here. Line 18) Calista: It’s like I’m in a painting. The wind brushes through Calista’s hair. She takes in the fresh air. Marvin sneaks behind Calista and scares her. She screams. Calista Line 19) Marvin! Why the heck did you run away?! She’s mad at Marvin and playfully punches him. Marvin Line 20) I just wanted to prank you. Marvin Line 21) I was following you down this trail. Line 22) Calista: What? How come I didn’t notice? Marvin Line 23) I’m sorry. Did I get you good? Marvin hugs Calista. Marvin Line 24) Did you think you were lost? Calista sticks her tongue out on him. She grabs his hand and leads him to a spot near a lake. They set down their picnic and start eating. There are ducks in the lake. Calista Line 25) This place is such a hidden gem. Calista Line 26) Is it still around in our time? Marvin Line 27) Most likely. Calista Line 28) Why didn’t we go then? Marvin Line 29) I don’t know. I guess just being back home reminded me of this place. Marvin Line 30) When I was younger, Luna and I would often play here. Calista smiles. Calista Line 31) Yeah. Those good old days are always timeless. Marvin throws some food at the ducks. Calista Line 32) I was wondering why you brought those grains. Marvin smiles. The ducks start eating the food. Calista feeds Marvin some food. They chat and lay back for a bit. Calista Line 33) I wish times were still like this now. Calista Line 34) Without technology to distract us, and just simply enjoying nature. Calista Line 35) It’s just so peaceful. Marvin’s narration: Line 36) And I wish times were always like this. Line 37) There’s so much I want to show Calista. Line 38) But, there’s a pit in my stomach knowing this bliss won’t last forever. Line 39) Since I keep thinking I can't do much with her on a daily basis, it's difficult to appreciate my time with her. Line 40) I just keep thinking about the day that’ll soon come, where we won’t be able to see each other again. Calista grabs Marvins face. Calista Line 41) You look down, what is it? Marvin's narration continues: Line 42) But, I don’t want to ruin my time by worrying so much. Marvin Line 43) I just remembered that I never learned how to do a cartwheel. Calista is confused. She laughs. Calista Line 44) Where’s this coming from? Marvin Line 45) I told you. My sister and I would always play here. Marvin Line 46) She would show off all kinds of skills. Like hand stands, body rolls, cartwheels. Calista Line 47) Wow. That’s impressive. Marvin Line 48) I know. But, she never taught me. Even when I asked her countless times. Marvin Line 49) She would always say, “it’s a skill you’re born with”. Calista laughs. Calista Line 50) So, I guess the sassiness runs in the family. Marvin smiles. Calista stands up. Calista Line 51) Luckily, I know how to do all those things. Marvin stands up too. Line 52) Calista: I am a bit rusty though. Hopefully I can land perfectly in front of Marvin. I want to show off. Calista starts to demonstrate. Calista Line 53) It's more about trying it yourself until you get it right. Calista Line 54) But, I’ll do my best to guide you through it. Calista Line 55) Alright, so start with your hands up. Marvin copies Calista. Calista Line 56) Place them on the ground, but face forward. Calista Line 57) Then kick your lower body up, swing your feet to the other side and try to land. Calista stumbles as she tries to land her cartwheel upright. Marvin laughs from Calista's clumsiness. Calista looks embarrassed in front of Marvin. Calista Line 58) E-Erase that from your memory. Calista Line 59) I shouldn’t have explained while demonstrating. It slowed me down. Calista switches the topic. Calista Line 60) So, kick your legs up. Why are you stuck in that weird position? Marvin Line 61) The thing is I have really bad balance. Calista Line 62) So, what? Just give it a shot. Calista Line 63) I already told you. It’s trial and error. Calista Line 64) Here. I’ll hold your legs. Calista looms above Marvin. Calista Line 65) Don’t be scared. Kick up your legs. Marvin kicks his legs up and Calista catches it. Calista Line 66) There. You’ve got it. Marvins arms tremble. Calista Line 67) It’s hard holding yourself up, huh? Calista laughs. Calista Line 68) Alright. I’m gonna throw your heads to the other side. Calista Line 69) Try to land with them upright. Calista throws them. Marvin Line 70) Wait-! He lands on his feet. Calista applauds him. Calista Line 71) Yay! You did it! Marvin is shocked. Marvin Line 72) Oh wow. I actually did it. Calista Line 73) Do it again. Practice makes perfect. Calista helps Marvin as he keeps trying. They hang out by the lake continuing to talk and eat snacks. Shot cuts to Elouise and Talulla in a cafe. Elouise is crying her eyes out. Line 74) Talulla: I only came because she begged me to, but this is so awkward. Line 75) Talulla; Yet, sort of satisfying. It’s well deserved. The waiter comes by to give them their coffees. Elouise tries her drink and spits it out. Elouise Line 76) I asked for a hazelnut latte, not a caramel one! Elouise Line 77) Take it back! The waiter fearfully takes it back and walks away. Elouise Line 78) Gosh, nothing is going my way lately! Talulla tries to hold in her laugh. She pfts out a smirk. Elouise is offended. Elouise Line 79) I’m sorry. Are you laughing?! Talulla blurts out all of her laugh while nodding her head. Elouise Line 80) Wow. Is my misery really that amusing to you? Talulla wipes away tears. Talulla Line 81) Ah. You got exactly what was coming for you? Elouise Line 82) How can you say that to my face? I’m being vulnerable here. Elouise keeps crying. Talulla finishes her laugh and keeps smiling. Talulla Line 83) Karma really has its ways. Line 84) Elouise: Wow. I didn’t think I’d ever meet someone this rude? Elouise Line 85) I’m not a bad person. What’s karma to come for? Talulla bursts into an even bigger laugh. This only makes Elouise cry harder. Elouise Line 86) Why do you keep laughing at me? Talulla Line 87) Yeah, keep telling yourself that. Elouise Line 88) We’ve only just met. How can you say those things to me? Talulla Line 89) I know you better than you know yourself. Elouise Line 90) Watch what you say! I have a powerful family! Talulla Line 91) Blah blah blah. I’m sick of hearing it. Elouise Line 92) Who do you think you are?! Talulla Line 93) I for one. Am actually a good person. Elouise Line 94) No you’re not. You keep laughing at me. Talulla Line 95) For all the right reasons. Elouise Line 96) You’re sputtering nonsense. Talulla Line 97) Am I really? Talulla Line 98) If that really were the case. You wouldn’t be getting this defensive. Talulla Line 99) I’ve got you all figured out. Elouise Line 100) Well then just say it. Elouise Line 101) What do you know so much about me? Talulla starts talking and Elouise gets into shock. End of episode. © 2024 YoshAuthor's Note
