In Another Lifetime By Yosh Episode 28A Chapter by Yosh Talulla executes one of her plans to help Calista and Marvin bond by taking them to an amusement park.

They are all at a theme park. This is Talulla’s plan. Talulla Line 1) We’re going to ride all the rides in this park. Eat all the greasy foods. And barf our guts out. Calista and Marvin look confused. Talulla Line 2) It’ll be fun. Trust me. Talulla Line 3) Are you scared of heights, Marvin? Marvin nervously nods his head. Calista Line 4) Talulla. Why would you bring him here if he’s scared? Calista pats Marvin. Calista Line 5) Marvin, you don’t have to do this. Please don’t force yourself. Marvin Line 6) I can’t be scared forever. It’s time I face my fears. Marvin Line 7) I’m up for the challenge. Talulla Line 8) That’s the spirit! Talulla high fives Marvin. Calista Line 9) Are you sure? Marvin Line 10) I’m sure. They get on a ride and Marvin and Calista sit next to each other. They get their harness pressed on and the ride is ready to go. Marvin is clenching his harness severely. He looks nervous and is sweating a bit. Calista notices and assures him. Calista Line 11) How are you holding up, Marvin? Marvin Line 12) U-Um. I’m trying my best. Calista Line 13) You’ve got this. I’m proud of you for making such a bold choice. Marvin smiles at Calista. Calista Line 14) I want to owe you back. Marvin is confused. Calista Line 15) You comforted me while we were watching a horror movie the other day. So, I want to make sure we’re even. Calista extends her hand out. Calista Line 16) I’m lending you my hand. Squeeze it as hard as you like if you’re scared. Marvin Line 17) That won’t be necessary. The ride starts moving up and Marvin gulps nervously and gets sweaty. Calista Line 18) Just take it. It’s only fair if we’re even. Marvin Line 19) But my hands are sweaty. Calista Line 20) So are mine. That’s totally normal. She wiggles her hand in his face and he finally grabs it. As he does he blushes uncontrollably. Calista Line 21) Scream as loud as you want too. Marvin closes his eyes and tightly grips Calista's hand. They finally get to the top of the roller coaster and it falls. Marvin screams loudly and Calista laughs. But they are still holding hands. After the ride is done. Both of their hairs are crazy. But Marvin looks especially petrified. They get out of the ride and Marvin stumbles a bit. But tries to regain his composure. Talulla Line 22) I can’t believe you just did that. Congrats! Talulla Line 23) Wanna go again? Calista Line 24) Give him a break. He probably wants something more mellow. Right? Marvin nods his head. Calista Line 25) How are you doing? Marvin Line 26) I’m just a bit disoriented. But overall I’m fine. Calista Line 27) That’s a relief. Before you know it. You’ll get used to that feeling and finally enjoy all these rides. Calista Line 28) I also used to be very scared. But Talulla urged me to go frequently, and I eventually got used to it. Calista Line 29) And now I love going. All thanks to her. Calista Line 30) But, I won’t urge you to go again. You’ve already made such a big step. So, be proud of yourself. Marvin smiles. Talulla Line 31) Let’s go on that ferris wheely shuttle thing. They get on the ride. All three of them. And it’s a big sight to see. Calista Line 32) The city lights up so nicely when it’s dark out. Calista Line 33) Do you recognize any places, Marvin? Marvin looks and analyzes the buildings. Marvin Line 34) Not at all. Jersey looks so different now. All of them stared out to see the city. Talulla Line 35) Look over there. Someone’s getting married. They all look and it’s a wedding ceremony at a park. Calista Line 36) I think that’s Addison Park.. Talulla Line 37) It looks like a nice ceremony. Calista Line 38) Her dress is so beautiful. Talulla Line 39) She’s living my dream. I’m so jealous. They laugh. Marvin really analyzes Calista. Line 40) Marvin: The way her eyes sparkle from the illuminating lights. Line 41) Marvin: She’s dazzling. There’s no doubt that I’ve been bewitched. They exit the ride. Talulla Line 42) I’m gonna grab us something to munch on. Talulla Line 43) In the meantime. You guys should go on the actual ferris wheel. Talulla gives Marvin a smolder. Line 44) Marvin: She’s being a bit obvious. I hope Calista doesn’t catch on. They stand in line for the ferris wheel and come up when it’s their turn. The person who lets them in says… Worker Line 45) My! You guys make a great couple. Marvin looks frazzled. Marvin Line 46) U-Uh i-it’s not like that ma’am. Calista LIne 47) Haha. We’re just friends. Worker Line 48) That’s always how it always starts out. She winks at them and lets them through. Worker Line 49) Enjoy your ride. They get on. And there’s obviously awkward tension between them. Line 50) Calista: What’s with this awkward tension? I thought the both of us would disregard what the lady said. Line 51) Marvin: I should break the silence. It’s only making things worse. Calista is gazing at the stars. Marvin Line 52) Uh. Do you like astronomy? Line 53) Marvin: What kind of idiot asks that question? Just because she was looking at the stars doesn’t mean she’s into astronomy. Calista Line 54) I do, actually. Marvin is surprised he guessed correctly. Calista shows her wrist to Marvin and sees she has a moon and star tattoo. Calista Line 55) Call me cliche for getting these. But I just couldn’t resist. Marvin Line 56) Woah. Did they hurt? Calista Line 57) Severely. Areas with thinner skin are always more painful. Flashback to when Calista got her tattoo with Talulla. Calista Line 58) But it was worth it. Calista Line 59) But, I almost scratched Talulla’s skin off cause I was squeezing her hand so hard and my nails were digging in. Marvin is shocked. Calista Line 60) Yeah. She’s a true MVP for putting up with me then. Marvin Line 61) Did I almost scratch your skin off when you lent me your hand? Calista Line 62) Don’t worry. You didn’t. But you were squeezing hard. Marvin Line 63) Sorry about that. Calista Line 64) Don’t be. As long as it morally supported you. That’s all that matters. Marvin smiled. They both kept gazing at the night sky. Calista Line 65) Look over there. It’s a constellation. Marvin looks over and his eyes spark up. Calista Line 66) I don’t know which kind it is. But it’s super pretty. I wish I had my telescope. Marvin Line 67) You own one? Calista Line 68) Yeah. I saved up for months and finally purchased one around a year ago. Calista Line 69) I can pull it out later and we can take a look at some things. Sound good? Marvin Line 70) That sounds exciting. They get off the ride and Talulla greets them with some pretzels and sodas. Calista Line 71) Oh my gosh! Yes! I love these soft pretzels! They all sit on a bench and start eating. Talulla Line 72) What do you think, Marvin? Marvin Line 73) It’s quite good. Thanks for getting it. Talulla Line 74) Marvin actually likes something? Shocker! Marvin Line 75) That was only one time. I’m not a sweet tooth. Talulla Line 76) That makes sense. Calista Line 77) By the way, Talulla. Do you know where my telescope is? Talulla Line 78) It’s in our storage unit. Why do you ask? Calista Line 79) Let’s pull it out when we get home. Talulla Line 80) For the meteor shower? Calista Line 81) There’s a meteor shower today? Talulla Line 82) Yeah they say at approximately… Talulla pulls out her phone and checks. Talulla Line 83) 9:00 it will occur. Calista Line 84) Now we have to get the telescope out. They return home and bring out their telescope to the park. Talulla is using coordinates to locate where the constellation is. She looks through the eyepiece and locates it. Talulla Line 85) Take a look you guys. I found the constellation. Calista Line 86) Do you know which one it is? Calista looks through the eyepiece while Talulla explains. Talulla Line 87) This one is called the “Hydra” Talulla Line 88) It’s shaped like a snake. Calista backs out. Calista Line 89) Take a look, Marvin. Marvin goes in for a look. Marvin Line 90) It does look like a snake. Marvin Line 91) Is that like bad luck or something? Talulla Line 92) Certain beliefs tell stories about them. But, I don’t think it has anything to do with luck. Talulla checks her phone. Talulla Line 93) The meteor shower will happen any minute now. Talulla takes over and spots the shower. Talulla Line 94) Look to the left guys. Calista takes a video. They all sit and gaze at the shower. Calista Line 95) It’s so pretty. Marvin looks at Calista. Marvins narration: Line 96) As fascinating as the meteor shower was. I just couldn’t take my eyes off Calista. Line 97) She expresses so much love in her face. Line 98) You can tell she’s a passionate person. Line 99) She’s bundled up with endearment. Marvin sets his eyes back on the shower. They all take in the view and enjoy it.
