Trapped

Just writing

These burning handcuffs

That mark my skin

The pain unbearable

Why did I let you in?

Watching you through a frozen cage

Trying to ignore the cold

As my heart is taken into a sea of gold

Forever trapped inside my cage

As I try to suppress this ache

My eyes show my sorrow,

My hurt,

My regret

My soul

Why keep me 

When all you want to do is reap me

Of my freedom

Wishing I could escape

And never have to wear a cape

Never flying high

Falling through the sky

Why do supper hero's always die?

I just got done dealing with having to get over someone, this is what i felt like for me ^^; My friends say if anyone of us would be a supper hero it would be me, which i dont agree on but they end up winning anyway >.> anyway Please Review and hope u enjoyed the poem!
