Older Sister

Older Sister

A Poem by EnternalNight
"

this poem is about my family

"

The older sister

Three women

Dance ever lasting

“No boys allowed” at the back of their minds.

Forever one

Then the other

 Then again one more

 Weaving the dance.

Never letting their feet touch the ground

Playing

 Singing

 Laughing

Through dance’s end.

The older sister

The Fiery Maiden

The Singing Nurturer

The Wistful Crone

Swaying in rhythm behind the door

Acting,

Singing,

Dancing,

Performing for their friends

 A simple smile offering  help

To those in need.

The three women

Dancing through eternity

While shooting stars

And writing legends

The Older sister

The Fiery Maiden

The Singing Nurturer

The Wistful Crone

Three aspects of the Goddess

 In one body

Back to their door

“No Boys Allowed”
