The Wild Id(iot)A Poem by James RamsayEveryone loves The Wild idiot Dancing round the light to Smiled oblivion
The wild idiot Moving where our Eyes do take him
Crazy dripping face Never shares a grace Of judgment, My judgment calling
So everyone loves The wild idiot He fits and squeals Inside your pleasure
Why can’t I be? The man who is free A conscious mind is Poison to me
How I long to be The wild idiot So care free His life is easy
Oh how I hate Man’s sorry fate Not fighting Don’t want his voice back
Oh how he laughs The wild idiot Cos he knows He’s better than me Oh can you see He’s better than me © 2014 James Ramsay |
