Titantic

Titantic

A Poem by sierra_jo
"

This is my version of the sinking of the ship "Titantic". Enjoy!

"

Don't you hear the distress?

Don't you hear the cries?

Can't you feel the mourning?

Can't you feel the lies?

The titan fell head over heels!

Killing those because of beauty?

Are you stupid?

It's you I pity!

A dollar a day was never enough!

Calm them down with lies and such!

Tell no one of their certain death.

But they still smell the blood on your breath.

Easier to be calm.

Easier to be peaceful.

Harder to be realistic.

Harder to be meaningful.

The death of their's is the death of your's.

See you on the Eastern shore

Amazing, I love how you point figures with almost every line in this, and you are right to write this. I agree. It was an extreme tragedy but one that could have been prevented. But everyone was too stuburn and vain to even think that it could have ever sank. Meanwhile the only people who got saved were the rich. Its was a horrible crime against humanity.
