Smooth as SilkA Story by lawrence beara love poem
For years, I wanted to tell you.
The affect, You have on me.
I've let you control me, Let you inside my head.
I've given you everything, Even my life.
My spirit, My heart.
When the time has come, To tell you of my love.
Say what I've felt, How I've yearned you.
"I love you" I say, I open up to you.
In front of your peers, You whispered in their ears.
You looked around, To make sure everyone was watching
"That's cute" you said, And laughed.
Laughter filled my head, Ripped apart my soul.
Embarrassed I was, Hurt I am.
Now I stand before you, Listening to your cries.
No one hears, No one to help.
We're all alone, Here in the meadow.

What a wonderful sound, Smooth as silk.
You whimper, and piss your pants.
Now its my turn, To laugh.
"How come?" I ask, "Don't... Please.." sqeaks from you lips.
"You ain't laughing now, B***h!!"
My finger pulls the trigger, An echo follows.
A surge runs through my viens, From my head to my toes.
You can't hurt me, Or anyone no more.
You ain't laughing now, B***h!
Good-bye my love, So long cruel world.
