The Warrior

The Warrior

A Poem by lawrence bear
"

I only dream to be the best

"

In this world,

We are born to do something,

In this world,

We are born to be something.

There is nothing like the feeling you get,

When you lace up your blades.

The sound of the music pumping,

As you slowly make your way to the ice surface.

Your heart is drumming,

Your body tingles.

The feeling,

The rush.

All my life,

I've waited for this moment.

I was born to do one thing,

And one thing only.

I was born to be,

a weekend Gladiator,

a Warrior.

I was born to be...

A hockey player.
