VindicationA Poem by timthyThis poem explains itself...or does it? Welcome to my mind...
Self suffering has rendered a martyr
Bound by self inflicted condemnation Petrified soul, growing harder No appealing to this adjudication Willful surrender , absolute frustration Completed fresco of eminent trauma No resolve, nor arbitration To the tragedy of this drama Given to chance or contemplation Karma, in infinite supply Secretly assist in allegation Of the distorted and awry Oft at times not knowing Will the wounds start to mend With all the cracks showing Can they be put together again Often lost in divine obscurity Numbness dose is self inflicted Soul search for ounce of purity Only prayer of the addicted Struggle on ones own restrictions Battle between oneself and them Boundaries fall to contradictions A matter of sink or swim Obstacles built by ones convictions Resistance attacks from every side Fortress fortified by indignation Self sufficiency must be implied A perfect storm of transgression With a storm weakened habitation Seeking shelter from such oppression Reality reveals a precise calculation Starving the hunger that grows In the bowels of the evils indicated Only then the torch brightly glows Inside the souls of the vindicated... © 2014 timthyAuthor's Note
