Meandering through my memories
Times come to take out the trash Is when i found this box of lies Well hidden in my stash Opened one with hesitation The next with caution spurned The third with deliberation And the last with lesson learned Over one hundred letters Have just been thrown away To make me more the better And free me from dismay Every line starts with a promise In an ocean of perfection we shall swim Now at the eve of our demise Were they lies before you wrote them The deception that has occurred Takes strength to behold I believed your lies so absurd Seems like a soul has been sold Two of my inner sanctum Both precious as gold to me Should have spit and then thanked them For their depravity See, i have a hard time Being dogged by people I trust Wishing the best by design Will of restraint is a must Finally free of assumption Relieved to know the truth Tooth fairy of consumption So please don't hide the tooth As much as this causes me pain Trying hard to regain composure As I discard of trash once again I now can have closure..
