My Sunshine

My Sunshine

A Poem by timthy
"

Something to make your heart smile

"

To not see your face

I would rather be blind

No beauty can replace

My beloved sunshine

I bask in your presence

Thank God that you are mine

A life of complete darkness

Without my  sunshine

Remember every spoken word

Each  intricate line

Life itself would seem absurd

Without my precious sunshine

There is no better partner

The good Lord could assign

No soul could be  any purer

Than that of my sunshine

More precious than any diamond

Much finer than any wine

There is no mortal pleasure

Without my precious sunshine

I can fool myself

Say I am feeling fine

My emotional  wealth

I invest in my sunshine

I will make mistakes

Which I am prone to do

But I will do whatever it takes

To make promises come true

I would sacrifice everything

Blessed be the tie that binds

Her voice turns my rope to string

Dangling on sunshine

Dawn be your namesake

Gods majestic grand design

Dusk could never forsake

My love for  my sunshine...
