![]() FaçadeA Poem by ymz![]() Up to interpretation![]() I wake up in the morning. I wave my hand in front of me And I am still dreaming.
I get up to dress myself. I put on my favorite outfit: A sweater, my skin, and some fun socks.
I eat an easy breakfast " I am tired. I take another bite from a bowl coated in dust and a crack I hadn’t seen before.
I drive to work for the day. It’s a Saturday, but I’ll go anyways. I find a spot in the crowded parking lot and arrive to an empty building. I sit to do some work.
On my way home, the sun is down. I stop at a red light, sharp and unsettling. I am made uneasy.
I return home to a new face " something I hadn’t seen before. I knock at the door and I am let in. The face then asks me, “Who are you?” © 2020 ymzAuthor's Note
