I see you watching me

Watching my every move

I see you

But you don't see that

You're hidden away in the shadows

Just like you have been for a very long time

I remember all those times

I felt eyes on me

But I always found comfort in knowing

They were your eyes

What's funny is every time I felt your eyes

I would always long to see them

To see you

Your stare sends chills and warmth up and down my spine

You make me think the most irrational things

And that should bother me

But it doesn't

What bothers me is how I probably will never see you

What bothers me is

How in the hell am I thinking clearly?

It honestly depends on the person and the situation, but yes that is one of the main reasons because we all rely on feeling safe so much.
