first time writing from a boys perspective

How can one person

control every emotion you have

with just a look?

 

a single soul

that has every piece of my broken heart

and she doesn't know

 

she's beyond perfection

I know others have said this

to her

but I know for a fact

to me she is truly different

from her long hair

to her slender hands

her soft voice

her soft heart

 

she makes me feel amazing

to just be around her

I feel light

and truly happy when she is near

I just wish

she was in my arms

and her lips

would be connected to mine

 

I know

we will never be

we are simply friends

I'm just her best guy friend

I cant tell her

I don't want it to change between us

because I like it how it is

even though I want her to be mine

its fine the way it is now

 

but I cannot deny

or will ever deny

the love I have

for this  soul

this girl

my best friend

the love of my life

I will always be there for her

I will always love her

she is my first love
