She cried

She cried

A Poem by yliana

Once apon a time
There was a little girl
She was happy
Her life was good, as a child's life should be
Then she saw her parents love fade away
They fought
She watched.
The little girl went to middle school
She saw the evilness in people
They made fun of her
She cried
They watched.
The girl became a teenager
She went to high school
Sad and cynical
They stopped making fun of her
She found love
Everybody thought her life was okay
It wasn't.
Because she couldn't love herself
She hated herself
The pain could never fade away
She hid her sobs
They couldn't see
The girl wrote her life on a piece of paper
The marks on he arms finally gone
Her life was visually becoming better for once
The love she found was the only thing that kept her going
She was slowly mending herself together
But it wasn't fast enough
Her sadness could end her life
She's trying her best not to
She really is
I promise.

THE END.

Enjoyed the read, the easily flow of words described the girls life so quickly as if a memory, yet so lucidly as if we were her. My poems are also not planned out, and I go with the flow. Glad to see another writer who does the same at times.
