I don’t really see you any more

we talk but it’s not really the same

brushing over some subjects

and completely avoiding others

 

I wonder if my feelings for you

are really true

or am I just looking for someone

to fill the void in my heart

 

now more than ever

I feel it’s empty presence

every time I think of the past

be it him or you

 

I wish life was not so confusing

that relationships weren’t so troublesome

I seem to mess everything up

can’t do anything right

 

I wonder if anything I feel

is really true

am I deceiving myself

is everything a lie?
