and everyone says that life goes on

but it’s not so easy to forgive and forget

when memories haunt you and won’t go away

the hardest thing to do is to just move on

so when someone says to just move on

that life continues

it’s obvious to see

they’ve never felt this way before

 

cause it’s not so easy to just move on

though everyone makes it sound so easy

cause they don’t know what we go through

some things are so easy to move on after

but heartbreak just isn’t one of them
