How it could have been.

How it could have been.

A Poem by Jolly Jake
"

Make a choice, believe in it, work hard to fulfill it, and then have no regrets.

"

Some decisions are simple,

And maybe others confusing.

Some are quite important,

And others you can wing.

These choices tell us things,

About who we are.

They decide if we fail,

Or if we will go far.

It’s vital to make a choice,

Then be sure to follow through.

Often you can’t choose in between,

You’ll get neither if you do.

You have to face consequences,

Because there is no time machine.

You can’t shirk responsibility,

Like a stereotypical teen.

Choices tell us things,

About who we are.

They decide if we fail,

Or if we will go far.

So decide then be confident,

Hope and pray that you’ll win.

Don’t get caught up worrying,

About how it could have been.

This is a really great write.
I love the message in this.
I really love the note at the top;
"Make a choice, believe in it, work hard to fulfill it, and then have no regrets"
That really summarizes the entire piece and is a great message in itself.
Great write!
