A thousand words, or more?

My first attempt at poetry recently. I hope you can enjoy it.

 

A smile's worth a thousand words,

At least that’s what they tell me.

Some people may think that’s right,

I beg to disagree.

 

I think a smile's worth much more,

It's so much more indeed.

Smiling at a passer-by,

Is often just the seed.

 

For If I flash you a smile,

Then you’ll be smiling too.

Which can make you see the world,

In a totally different view.

 

So don’t you think a smile's greater,

Than a thousand words or more?

For a smile doesn’t end with you,

It can spread from shore to shore.

 

Smiling starts a chain of love,

That keeps the world from being blue.

Just to think this wonderful thing

Can have its roots in me and you!

i rly like the msg this poem conveys. however, be a lil careful with the simple rhymes. vocab normally jazzes up writings. but all in all, pretty good. :D
