Life After Death?

A reverse poem with 2 opposing points of view: The first is that there is no life after death, the second is that there IS life after death. Each line can be reversed, giving the poem a new meaning.

LIFE AFTER DEATH:

My end

My future

My tomorrow,

Death

Is but a barrier between one life and the next

Death

Unknown, but greater than the present

FALSE!

Silent, numb, and endless

Death

Is what lies ahead

Everything I ever wanted,

Unimaginable suffering or

A second chance

They shall not be my fate.

Unconsciousness,

Darkness and

Silence

That is the truth

This is the end

I refuse to believe that

There is life after death.
