chapter 1 My life

"WHY?!?! I don't wanna go they'll be cruel I already chose to be here you saw what happened the first time! The things they said!"  Those words iv'e said them before I don't remember when but.... I feel they were important. My name is Manami garibay, age 13 and my life sucks. I live all alone in a small beach house in Tokyo that many believe is abandoned. I don't even go to school and many strange things happen around me maybe i'm just cursed or lucky or maybe just strange? Like for example I get strange memories whenever I touch a certain object and the foster program couldn't find out where I was from and just randomly decided to let me stay in a house by myself. they give me a pretty large allowance each month and gave second handed stuff to fill up my new house.  Why this is strange is that their supposedly extremely strict with other children they cant even go to the bathroom without telling a supervisor. But its not like I dislike my new living arrangements its right next to the sea so I get to see the twinkling reflection from the shining moon in the water. I believe that the sea is the is a thing that binds us with our old bodies when we are reborn it keeps our bodies and memories that's why its deep and big but when it cant hold any more some may get their memories back. Well that's what I believe at least its a type of myth I created to trick myself to why I have these flashbacks of things I "remember" from a past life or something. As i'm deep in thought, I hear the door creak open.

This chapter did a good job at introducing the character and what is currently going on. I noticed you put "I get strange memories whenever I touch a certain object" which is called psychometry. She is probably clairsentience.
