Close Your Eyes: Final TearA Story by Helena G."A mothers love can be in any form..."
The little dinosaur looked up at his mother with a look of amazement.
"Mommy, look at all the falling stars." The mother knew what was happening, she knew these falling stars would crash, only, she couldn't bring herself to tell her son. Her baby. "Yes", she said tearing up. "Aren't they beautiful?" Her son was amazed and bewildered, completely filled with joy. She thought it best to have him stay oblivious to all the chaos that would happen soon. "Why don't we play a game?" she asked trying to seem as happy as her son. "What type of game?" her son asked. He looked up at her and noticed his mother's wet face. "Mommy, why are you leaking?" he asked. "I just love you so much" she said with a warm smile. As her son kept looking at her, she noticed that the chaos was on its way, like a destructive wave. "So, the game" she said to keep the focus of her son on her. "It's a quick one, you'll have to close your eyes and I'll hug you. No matter what, you can't open your eyes, if you do, you lose." Her son looked at her, confused. "Hm, alright." He closed his eyes, and she hugged him as tight as she could. "I love you, baby" she said as the blast was a few seconds away. With his eyes closed he let out an "I love you too, mommy." She hugged him even tighter and turned away from the blast as a last attempt to shield her little dinosaur. "Don't open your eyes love" she whispered as she let out a final tear.
