InfinityA Poem by Aimee RobinsonThis is a poem inspired by my 10th grade English teacher. One day in class, he challenged us to ponder infinity and what it is for our journal entry. And this is what I came up with.
Infinity
falling outward into black nothingness a paradox within itself. insomnia and everything.
a million words multiplied by the immeasurable 1,000,000,000,000… equal zero. worthless, dead. a masquerade reflecting the impossible. never beginning. never ending. Infinity © 2009 Aimee Robinson |
