True, But Unthinkable

True, But Unthinkable

A Poem by Hayley-Jade
"

A poem I wrote during a dark period of my life while sitting in a laundry mat.

"

I'm sitting here in this musty laundry
Wondering where I will go from here
This is definetly of my darkest hours
It's not like I'm not trying to find some cheer

It's just that the happiness
Is non-existent
In this era of my life
A smile seems so foreign to me
The pain is cutting like a knife

I'm afraid it will always be like this
But I can't afford to think that way
And so I will continue to fight and struggle
Until I reach a happier day

Another note: I'm looking for some ideas for some things to write about. I don't want any simplistic ideas, but if you have a deep thought or idea for me, please share! Thanks!

I'm looking for not just life's meaning, but my meaning, the reason for my existence, the reason the sun shines, the reason the clouds cry, and what I can do to help, all through the power of writing... more..
