Your Lies

Your Lies

A Poem by ~DeathByButterflies~
"

Hmm... Doesn't make much sense, but I don't really care. Words flow but what do I know about such a thing as poetry?

"

Feel the pressure,

Feel the lies,

All the words you held inside

Bringing false hope,

Hearts that died,

But you never cared,

Our minds collide.

I didn't want this,

Neither did you.

The world is a broken place,

Full of old glue.

If this wasn't a loss,

It would be found,

But you threw it away,

Lost, unbound.

Free but not,

Lost in time,

Endless lies,

Hateful rhyme.

Hurt my heart,

I'll fight back,

Words so true,

Bring the attack.

Never afraid,

Your lies don't deceive,

You're breaking apart

Right at the seams.

About
