Painful Heart

Painful Heart

A Poem by ~DeathByButterflies~
"

An old one, short, not much to it.

"
An unending sadness,
A will of the heart,
It's outer regions unknown,
Left from the start.
Unbeating,
Lifeless,
A chain of lies
Strewn together,
Seen through pain filled eyes.
Within, there is nothing,
Falling apart.
Of course,
All is nothing
To this broken heart,
A heart without feeling,
Left from the start.

I think this a very poignant and well thought out poem about a broken heart and the loss of love. I like the way that you have your words arranged, I feels it really contributes greatly as you read the poem. Your words are simple, but with their arrangement, the message is powerful.
