Try Again

Try Again

A Poem by ~DeathByButterflies~
"

My first love poem. It isn't very good, but I tried.

"
He took my heart and flung it away,
Said he loved me,
Such a lie to say.
Holding on to his words like roses,
Seeing through them,
The hologram poses.
These are his lies,
Let them be free.
I need him no more,
He is without me.
Why did he hurt me?
All his lies put to shame.
He held my heart,
And flung it all away.
He saw my pain,
All the lies on my face.
Felt throught to my heart,
Fought the twisted maze.
He found my life,
Made it better,
No lies.
He is my heart,
No pain anymore.
He saw in my eyes
That I love him forevermore.
Thought the pain would never leave,
He made it go away,
And I know when he says
"I love you"
He is truly here to stay.

About
I guess you could say I'm just a kid that likes to write poetry. I'm little more than that, really. I write how I feel, and feel how I write. It may not always be the best decision, or the best writin.. more..
