Love Is Cruel.

This is a poem my mother wrote 19 years ago which is the year I was born, and I would like to share it with everyone and see what you all think.

Love is cruel but can also be kind and here's your first lesson so keep it in mind.

 

Watch everything they do, only believe half of what they say and maybe then you won't be so easy to betray.

 

Now don’t get me wrong not all men are the same. There are an awful lot of bad women out there and I think their to blame.

 

But if he really loves you then he'll know what to do, but that's only if his love is really true.

 

But if and when it happens and he doesn’t say no, then take my advice pack his bags and tell him to go.

 

Because if you don’t he'll be cheating and lying, and for the rest of your life you will be heart broken and crying.

Wow. That is so emotional and deep. At the part where she says "and I think *there* to blame" that "there" should be "their". The poem is well written, you could play with the format and try how that changes the way it's read, but all in all it's amazing. I love the rhyme scheme and flow.
