when i held you close....

it seemed almost impossible 

  to have you very close to my body

i could

    breathe your breath,

  hear your heartbeat,

    hold your hand while

  sinking deeper into your arms

The warmth of your body

    heating every inch of my skin,

in the chills of the winter day.

   the whole world seemed to

    be very small.

your sooty eyes,speak the unspoken,

    cutting through my soul 

       deeper and deeper.

your mysterious smile,

    holding away your

       private intentions

the grip of your hand

       tightening around my arms.

i solemnly wishing

       to stop the moment,

       to stop the movements around me,

and to lie there forever,

      under the shade of your affection....
