Words UnspokenA Poem by YaoooooooWords Unspoken By Jose M. Euvin
Maybe I should have asked Maybe you should have told me I love to watch you sleep So peaceful in your bed I long to hear you speak So many things unsaid “Grab your things and pack” Was the last you said Bring peace into my life And take the pain away Maybe I’ll say “I love you” And hope to hear it back Maybe I’ll try to hold you And relieve our past Life is not what I expected Our journey wasn’t long Your love I have neglected I never meant to do you wrong There you lay asleep Your life has come to pass I gently kiss your lips And close your dreamy eyes I’ll leave you now For good As your wake has come to pass I’ll give you one last kiss And burn it with our past I leave you now With words unspoken © 2008 YaoooooooFeatured Review
