Apocalypse

Apocalypse

A Poem by The Exception
"

The title pretty much says it all

"

All of us fell under the growing shadow.
Eating and swallowing us wholly.
Burning cities hidden in a blizzard of ashes.
Icy air meeting scorching heat, the collision making the air tremble.
An illusion of the world bending and twitching from the two powers of nature.
Flakes of reality beginning to peel from the edges of the universe.

The end crawls closer.
A big breath before it all collapse.
Everything stretching until the last atoms pulls apart.
Shrinking and crumbling.

There’s no stopping it.
And we’re at the beginning again.
Back to how it all started.
The big cycle of life.
Always on the verge of destruction, balance the only way to salvation.

Author's Note

The Exception
Yeah I know, it's so done/made/thought/and written already.
I guess my excuse is that I'm stuck at the school library because of a blizzard.
And well, writing poetry and listening to screamy hardcore music passes the time!

English is my second language so tell if anything is off and I'll change it.

Thank you for stopping by!
Spread the love people.
