An avenue encounter

An avenue encounter

A Poem by Jacob

The scent of rain

was clear and fresh

they took a break

to stretch the flesh

the street was crowded

not too much

and then they met

a string connected

eyes so straight

they strived for more

but they were stopped

the chest at front

some urge to know

to touch to smell

that basic need

attraction laws

but then above

the man the leash

not on their own,

two dogs move on.

lol...now that was a funny story...it starts off sounding like a romantic connection and turns into something else...interesting misdirection.

cleverly done, Jacob!

FUNNY GUY!!!

Laughed so much at the end... just wasn't expecting such a funny ending. The phrases were truly suggestion something very different.. very misleading, very clever!

' and then they met / a string connected / eyes so straight / they strived for more '

That was really misleading, thought man:woman.. instant attraction.. but no, you tricked this reader! :)
