The Reason

It is with pride we stand strong

Through our pain we find a reason to live

Through our adversity we make ourselves better

Through our tears come the hope for tomorrow

To give up is not even a choice

For I will fight till the bitter end

To prove my worth in the life that bends

 

No pain can bring this heart to its knees

Even if you take every single beat

My soul will push my heart to accomplish any feat

Even if you break every single bone

My pride will never let me give up and die alone

For I have a reason to push through the pain you try to show each day

 

No adversity can change my path

No matter how hard you continue to push

No matter how many bridges you burn and crash

I will find a way to make my path

There is no breaking my will

For I have a reason to push pass your cracks

 

No tears can cloud my vision for long

Cause even the mighty sea can dry to dust

I may cry at every loss

But every tear means I am closer to the end

There is always hope after the last tear drops

As long as you believe in the future of destiny’s desire

 

You cannot break the will that transcends his life

You cannot crush the hope in his heart that can hang on till the last drop

Your useless attempts to break this man

Will only push him to be stronger than before

For he has a reason to take each and every blow

 

All the pain that crashes down on his existence

Each road that is blocked with the daggers edge

Cannot break the will of tomorrow within this man

For he was given a reason to stand tall

His reason is his own no matter how many times he will fall
