In Spite Of

In Spite Of

A Poem by Michael Handel
"

I was going to pick a Norman Rockwell painting for the pic but then I was like "Nah." So anyway, lately I've just been experimenting is all.

"

I sat silenced by

her heart's guidance

as I'd figured

functions failed; for

their form was formless,

outside where I thought

it was that I was

which, as it turns out,

was not so silent, in spite of

spitfires diving from

the clouded horizon...

the children didn't flinch an inch.
