Misplaced Admiration

Misplaced Admiration

A Poem by Lorraine
"

A very unlikely sonnet.

"

I've crossed the borders of insanity
To the realm of misplaced admiration
But should I be judged by majority?
I was simply giving a confession
I love my toothbrush; must I be ashamed?
It's gentle bristles covered with toothpaste
Makes my teeth clean and the bacteria tamed
And so my mouth's left with refreshing taste
My darling toothbrush you make my day right
For you've always been a faithful bestfriend
To my delicate white teeth, day and night
Thus caring for you is what I intend
But someday you're bound to forever rest
Yet I tell you this, you're one of the best.

Whoa! That sounded exactly like the words in a toothpaste commercial which could draw massive attention. Very catchy lines: Malaman at may dating. I enjoyed this.

Love this.
These types of writing always leave me smiling and wishing I could be just as clever in my on endeavors.
Do not be ashamed.
The love of ones Toothbrush is of the noblest kind. *smile*

Hehe. That's great! I love how it starts out, and makes one think this might be another unrequited love poem type of thing. And then the toothbrush! =^-^= Really, though, toothbrushes are so very under appreciated! It's nice to see someone show them some love.
