Missing

Missing

A Poem by Psychostasis

Curled up in a corner
you'll find her little self
So feeble to mankind
Hiding all alone
under the stairs
her little body
locking herself in her
misery
Keeping to herself the
possibilities of
receiving compassion
Not just the love from
herself but
maybe from another
Her pathetic body
so fragile from
her mommy
throwing her like a
ragdoll of
little importance
and from
"lovers" who
believed suffering would
teach her to love them
They all failed
She's found in tears again
battered and
bruised and
torn and
defeated
This little girl she
cries out to God
begging for redemption
salvation but
receiving nothing
Not even a whisper
The wind caresses
her skin and
holds her tightly
This girls pain increases
but she has no
anesthetics to
make her numb
This girl will find
she's forever alone
She's missing...
