My Heart Betrayed

Christine Lawrence is found heart broken after Jeremey decides to leave her for someone else.What is going to happen to her?

~Christine's POV~

 

It was another one of those nights

 

The time is now 1:43 in the morning as I wait here for Jeremey to come home.I had to tell him the news that I was pregnant.

 

Lately,he has been staying out late.Coming home drunk and sometimes never coming back at all.

 

I let more tears fall down my face as I sit here in darkness only thinking of Jeremey

The time now is 3:29 in the morning.

 

I heard a door slam as I stared blankly at the wall.Jeremey came in looking at me in surprise.

 

"What are you doing up?",he asked.

 

I shot him a glare and got up from the couch beginning to walk into the other room.

 

Jeremey followed me as I sat down on the bed.

 

"You didn't answer my question",he pressed on.

 

"I've been waiting all damn night for you Jeremey!",I snapped at him.

 

I didn't bother to look at his reaction as I again walked out of the room with him again following me.

 

"Babe,I'm sorry..I came home this late..I just.."he trailed off.

 

"You just what Jeremey!You have no excuse!",I hollered at him.

 

"Yes the hell I do!",he shot back.

 

I scoffed and sat on the couch not meeting his gaze.

 

"Just tell me now Jeremey",I murmured beginning to cry again.

 

"Tell you what Crystal?",he asked.I remember the first day we met he always called me that.It was just his way of saying he loved me,but not anymore.

 

"Tell me....that your cheating on me,"I whispered.

 

His eyes widened and he looked away.

 

I was right...

 

I walked past him and slammed the door to our bedroom.

 

~Next Morning~

 

I began to sit up and immediately felt morning sickness.I ran to the bathroom and threw up.

 

After cleaning myself I walked into the living room to find Jeremey gone.Ugh..just like the b*****d he is.

 

I knew I had never told Jeremey that I was pregnant.I didn't care though.It would have never even mattered.I knew he was cheating on me this whole time.

 

He was always so distant and never paying any attention to me and kissing me like he used to.

 

I just couldn't help,but think what did I do...so wrong?

 

I could feel tears sliding down my cheeks again as I wipped them away.It was just my hormones kicking in.

 

I rubbed my stomach and smiled.

 

I couldn't wait to have this baby.

 

After a few hours of cleaning I decided to go grocery shopping for the house.To be honest I shouldn't even be moving around at all,but Jeremey wasn't here to take care of me.

 

It wasn't like I needed him.I could take care of myself.He can go have fun with his little s***s,but I knew deep down it hurt,because he didn't love me anymore.

 

I parked the car and got out of it while grabbing my purse.

 

Walking into Kroger I hurriedly got a cart and began to do my grocery shopping.

I pulled into the checkout line as I began putting my items down so the worker could scan them.

 

Once she was finished she swipped my credit card and gave it back to me giving me a sile and a 'thank you for shopping at Kroger'.

 

As I was walking out my heart immediately dropped at the scene of Jeremey talking to another girl and laughing with her while smoking a cigarette.

 

He had promised me he would never smoke again.

 

I grimaced and with all my strength I looked away.

I finally finished putting all the groceries away in the cabinets and sat down for a rest.

 

I closed my eyes,but opened them again when I heard a door open and slam shut.

 

Jeremey walked in and looked at me with a smile.

 

"Hey"he greeted me while sitting down next to me.

 

I mumbled a 'hi' and closed my eyes again.

 

"Crystal..your not still mad at me are you?",he said getting annoyed.

 

"No...I'm not mad Jeremey",I said sweetly.

 

"Really?",he pressed on.

 

I glared at him.

 

"NO! I'm pissed off!",I yelled while storming into the other room.

 

"Why the hell are you pissed off Crystal.I said I was sorry!",he yelled back at me.

 

"Oh really?Well..explain to me why I saw you earlier smoking and laughing with another girl huh?",I screamed letting tears roll down my eyes.

 

He glared and rolled his eyes.

 

"I can do any damned thing I want Crystal and you can't f*****g stop me",he yelled in my face.

 

"Oh!I just came to tell you that I'm leaving you!",he continued again.

 

My eyes widened.

 

I was speechless.

 

He spit on the ground and left the room slamming the door.

 

I sank down to the ground in shock.

 

When I finally came to my senses I began to sob....

 

~Next Morning~

 

Jeremey was packing his bags and he was at the door.

 

I signed.I probably should tell him then.

 

"Jeremey....",I began.

"What?",he spat back annoyed.

 

"I'm pregnant",I whispered.

 

I didn't hear a gasp or anything.I looked at him and he was glaring at me.

 

"I guess you reall are that dumb aren't you Crystal",he hissed while leaving out the door.

 

As I watched him drive away I began to cry again.

 

I guess the little baby inside of me wasn't going to have a dad.

 

~2 Months Later~

 

The baby was due soon and I was pretty nervous.

 

I hadn't heard from Jeremey in 2 Months.

 

He must really hate me.

 

I was through the aisles of the store to find more baby products,until I bumped into someone.

 

"Oh!I'm so sorry",I cried.

 

I looked up and saw a handsom man smiling at me.

 

"It's quite alright",he assured me.

 

I smiled.

 

"Are you looking for something?",he asked.

 

"Oh..yes..I-um..I was looking for baby toys",I said blushing.

 

"Okay..well it's just down that aisle.",he told me.

 

I nodded and thanked him.

 

"May I ask you something?',he questioned.

 

I nodded.

 

"Where is the husband of your baby?',he asked.

 

My eyes widened at the memory as I looked down.

 

"He..well..walked out on the baby and I for someone else",I told him.

 

I felt a sudden hug as I hugged back smiling.

 

"I'm Mark,by the way",he said.

 

"Christine".

 

We both smiled at looked into eachother's eyes.

 

~Several Years Later~

 

I was finally happy.

 

Mark and I had got married after the divorce with Jeremey.

 

He never came to see Tony.His baby.

 

Mark and I were going out to dinner for just some us time.

 

I kissed him on the lips as we approached the restaurant.

 

I looked around and saw classical music being played.It all looked so expsensive.I didn't know how Mark could afford it.

 

We sat at our table and ordered out food.

 

"I'm going to head to the restroom for a moment",I told him.

 

He nodded and pecked my lips.

 

I was walking to the restroom before I bumped into someone.

 

"Oh excuse me!I'm sorry",I said to the person.

 

I looked up and my eyes widened at the sight of Jeremey.

 

"J-Jeremey?",I choked out.

 

He smiled at me.

 

"It's been along time Crystal",he pointed out.

 

I signed and nodded.

 

"So who are you here with?",I asked.

 

"Oh.My wife Claire",he said pointing to a woman with long black hair in a black dress sitting at a table not too far from ours.

 

"Are you here by yourself?",he asked.

 

I shook my head.

 

"I'm here with my husband Mark",I replied.

 

His eyes widened and I saw jealousy.

 

I smiled at him and patted his back.

 

"I'm glad your happy Jeremey",I said and walked away from him smiling.

 

I had moved on from the person who had betrayed my heart.

this is a nice story
the way that Christine moved on after Jeremey left and found another man who genuinely cared for her and the baby.
