His Side.

he used to care now he just doesn't
he guesses them meant to be just wasn't
wondering if he should leave her alone
yet he cant stop texting her phone.

look how hard he fell and how fast he got up
he knows there's still pain but beer fills his cup
this boys friends run him and he just sits back
shes the only one on his mind shes first to the attack

all the lies he says about her to make himself hate
but that girl has his heart , the reason hes up so late
he keeps looking for a replacement because it cant be her
quickly he gets one but is so sick and knows shes the cure

he tells her he cant see her and ditches out every time
he needs her to stop reaching him , but higher she will climb
this girl needs to hate him so things can be easy
so he decides to hook up with girls that are sleazy

he knows hes hurting her with everything he does
she asks him why he doesn't care and he says "cuz"
being a man is too much right now and he cant see the light
he wonders if hes just going to let her go and give up the fight

finally the day came where they fell face to face
looking at her made his heart beat a faster pace
now he didn't give a damn about what they all thought
he forgave her for all the hurt all the guys he caught

tears filled his eyes when he yelled they couldn't be
i grabbed his hand and wondered what was wrong with me
he told me he cared but that just wasn't enough
she doesn't need a boy she needs a sole that's tough

here's to everything we put eachother through
its no surprise there will never again be a me and you
your confusing thoughts really had me hanging on tight
and since you wont surrender ill willingly give up this fight.

I so-loved these lines here all because of admitance in this about the man is too much right now he can't see the light. Those are some powerful words. This is one amazing write...so full of real feelings that are powerful.

So lovely to read, the emotions are so fluent and easily recognizable, making this seem a more simple poem, but it's very complex (or at least in my mind)! Great write :)
