Finding A Flower

Finding A Flower

A Poem by xxlivefastttxx
"

I don't really know what to say. Words ran through my head and I began to type.

"

On land barren and harsh.

Where only a dust windy blows,

  and nothing, nothing grows.

I walk along smoothly,

sliding one foot after another.

The sweat drips of my cheek.

Oh what dry, dry summer.

Pushing through the heat,

I began searching.

I didn't know for what,

but for something.

When day began to turn to night,

My feet were sore.

Oh feet, take flight.

I fall to my knees,

my chaped lips begin to bleed.

What do I see,

when almost almost all hope is gone?

A flower at my feet.

This is a great poem. I love it. "I fall to my knees, my chaped lips begin to bleed. What do I see, when almost almost all hope is gone? A flower at my feet." I find this part deep. Keep writing more!
