Can’t Tell in the Rain

 

I’m gonna scare you away

With my fear and my pain

I’m gonna stand here and cry

Cause you can’t tell in the rain

My heart is so confused

You walked into my life

Took my stability

And cut it with a knife

I barely even know you

So why does this feel so bad

Cause thinking that you don’t like me

Makes me so upset and sad

These tears stream down my face

Showing feelings I strive to hide

This song I shouldn’t be hearing

The times I shouldn’t have lied

Why are these feelings so strong

The horrible fear and the pain

I’m gonna stand here and cry

Cause you can’t tell in the rain.
