Love like a Diamond

 

I’m not as physically breakable as you think

I’ve had my fair share of fights

But I am easily breakable emotionally

I’ve cried for nights and nights

And my heart’s been broken

Many times before

I just hope that I have more luck

And it don’t end that way anymore

Cause I’m happy where I am

That I swear it’s not real

It may not be the best thing

But it’s the best that I can feel

So I’m hoping that our relationship

Isn’t made of ice

Cause that’s too breakable for me

But instead is made of diamonds

That are strong and clear, so you can see

And if it’s not then I guess I’ll be broken again

I guess that’s just how it’s supposed to end
