Taken Away

Is life the cruelest of things,

Must I comfort myself in silence,

can you not hear my plead,

Stop,

I can no longer deal with what's happening,

Hate consumes me, why is that,

I was once known as loving and caring ,

Yet I no longer know this person,

Who are you stranger,

You have stolen my identity,

What else would you take,

Give me back what I've lost,

Give me back what I  long for,

Why do you question me,

Why do they all question me,

Have I not given enough, should I give more,

I give up,

I try to explain yet you don't listen,

Hear me out please I'm begging you,

Please listen before I myself am lost,

I feel this strange darkness consume me,

Is this the end,

If so I have no words to say,

Goodbye, No, Hello,

Now you will meet the new me.

Perhaps it's my lack of knowledge of english (or maybe ignorance? I hope not), but I can't help but feel that this work is a little chaotic. I'm simply not sure if i get the message, that is all :) From what I do get, however, I like this poem and I really enjoyed reading it. I'm looking forward to reading more!
