Speak

Speak

A Poem by Mel
"

All thoughts have meaning, all words have weight. Don't let people speak for you.

"

Bitten tongues,
Suppressed urges;
Words push against my lips.

Torture inside;
Words can't fail me,
This storm inside.

Eyes ablaze,
and parted lips.

No faltered words.
No stuttered sentences;
Only strengh, only voice,
With the opinion I have inside.

To not have an opinion is to commit a crime worthy of a life sentence in jail. Speak your mind as long as it is respectful and benefitting. Don't supress the ability to motivate and nurture another's mind. No one walking on the face of this earth silences you. Speak and be heard!
