Run

Run

A Poem by Mel
"

Darkness is beautiful, but sometimes it's too suffocating. Enjoy the light you walk in, you might not always have it.

"

Cut loose your inhibitions,
Scheming friends aside,
Everything in your past that haunted you,
That ever made you cry.

The darkness threatened you,
Pushing to overcome.
But in that moment of eternal light,
I beg you to run.

PERFECT Mel this is awesome and so true! Each line is great,
your words are hard hitting and very knowledgeable.
I like how you give us directions on what to do like cutting off
no good friends, overcoming the evil in life but at the end you
make a heart felt plea begging us to run toward light.....this is nice Mel
very nice and a cool quote!

I lovethis. Its so true. This is written so beautiful and the imagery is amazing. One thing the last line "I beg you to run" kinda messes with the flow of the poem a bit so you might wanna change it a little. It great the way it is to though. I love it.
