LUCIFER ...

LUCIFER ...

A Poem by Roy
"

Lucifer's not taking a nap.. he rules the world of today.. the ones among us who bay for others' blood are all his guardian angels... And nobody's good in this world, ain't it so? ... So ... Unless you are Gabriel, welcome to the party.....

"

"Hello! Six-Six-Six?"
"Games of gore in my backyard.
And everyone's invited..."

Short, vivid. I liked the first line. The rest just didn't seem to flow with the other, though. You have a powerful idea here, that sin is all around us, and we treat it like a game of hopscotch. I think you should expand your ideas in this.

Yikes. It seems as though this is true, and I often wonder why God has not thrown up his hands in disgust and destroyed us all. We definitely are all sinners ~ how can anyone be without blemish? But there are hearts still scattered about this world accepting of Christ's sacrifice ~ covered in his blood.

I love this piece, Someshwar ~ a startling truth should anyone stop to think about it. I dispise it. Yet still trust that, all said and done, those few righteous left standing will have the ultimate last laugh...

Excellent. ~j
