The day everything went wrongA Chapter by Carmen
Chapter 1
Like every other children, she didn't know what was right or wrong. She was the innocent one, Sierra. Sierra grew up in an ordinary, she didn't know the fate that was in stored for her, and neither did she know the truth about everything. Sierra was pretty young for her fate to change, it didn't start on her birthdays like other. Instead, it was just a ordinary day in the summer. With the moon low shining down on her bedroom. Her eyes where brown and her hair was light, while her skin was the palish white in a child. She was around nines. Even though she was a child, she wanted to be consider a teenager, just like everyone else, but she wasn't. As a child, she wanted to grow up. Desperate for changes in her life, when she had everything. She suddenly heard a bell ringing and people yelling for evacuate in matter of second. She sat up and leaned her head out of her window. Even though her street wasn't well know. Sierra had seen a lot of people running She just listen to the desperation of people trying to get away. While there were children being grabbed by the parent trying to run away with their pajamas. She just stood there staring, she had heard black horse make their loud noise, with their nails on their hose. Sierra didn't know what she was suppose to do. What she didn't know was her parents had already abandoned her with the sound of the bell. There were men charging in every house desperate to find money or gold, but she just stood there still and unmoved. She just sat there still and wanting someone to come and pick her up, but nothing was heard. Her heart pounded in the night. She could feel fear, but she just didn't move. As she looked, she notice there was a fellow girl from her school being pulled out, Carmen. She was dragged out by her arms and even though she was crying and scream, they didn't let go. Her arms were bruised, when they had let go. Without a word, her body was being wiped. Strip of her clothing, there was only scars found on her body. They put her behind a wheel barrow, where the other children were and laid to their misery, or you could say laid to rest. Sierra had lived in a rather dark house, which wasn't easily notice. It had took some time, but soon she heard steps on her stair. She just felt her heartbeat racing, even though her door was locked, it was easily broken down. As then men entered. She desperately tried to get away, but she knew that there wasn't a point to that. She trembled at the thought of being wiped and beaten, even though her thoughts were racing, she had a face of emotionless. Then man took her by one arm and slapped her on the face. She still didn't changed a bit, and the man laughed with cruelty. Sierra just stood there, then man took her by the arms and started to drag her. The man had no kindness in his eyes, neither did he show much emotions toward a kid. Sierra had gotten off the bed and was being dragged by the man arm. He had dragged her outside and threw her on the ground, causing a few scrapes. She had known what was in stored for her as something hit her flesh. She wanted to scream in pain, but she just didn't say anything at all. At the end of the pain and torture, her skin had show marks of bruises and blood. She didn't scream or neither did she cry. Inside she deeply wanted to her parent to be there, but these thought had gotten her eyes wet. She was thrown into the back with the other kids. It looked like some sorts of wagon, but caged in. She looked at the other children there. As she looked outside of the wagon, she wasn't sure, but she looked at the man carrying the wagon. She wasn't frightened, but she wonder what happened with the other. She looked at all of them before curling up all together. What happens next?
