war is all i have to say

the old start the war
and the young fight the war
cant you see we don't want anymore?
taking the men and women from families
you say "they will be heroes"
but really they will  be dead
the wife lies alone in bed
but if they survive
they come back killers
not like in your fiction thrillers
they killed in the war
and saw the friends die
how are they to live?

how can they look into the childs eyes?
when inside they're soul dies
